Excellence in Government Fellowship
The fellowship training was conducted by Center for Government Leadership, Partnership for Public Service. The program is designed to stimulate candidates' growth as leaders and challenge them to actively apply leadership lessons at work. The program uses a combination of innovative coursework, best practices benchmarking, challenging action-learning projects, and executive coaching and networking.


Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology

- Department of Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine (under the mentorship of Drs Paul D. Stolley and Jean Scott), University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
- Included three academic years of course work and practical experience in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Preventive Medicine, and Medical Informatics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health.

Master of Science (MSc) in Basic Medical Sciences (Parasitology)

Medical degree equivalent to MD (M.B.,B.Ch.)

Cairo University School of Medicine, Egypt (graduated with honors). In 1998, successfully completed all USMLE steps and fulfilled the Medical Education Credential requirements and became certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
